Founder and Chief Strategist

Macro Allocation Inc and Post Modern Partners

Paul Brodsky is the founder and strategist of Macro Allocation Inc (MAI), a macroeconomic research and consulting firm, and the founder and investment manager of Post Modern Partners (PMP), a private investment fund launching January 2017. As a macroeconomic strategist at MAI, he produces and distributes weekly macroeconomic and market reports to institutional investors and other fiduciaries, and constructs and maintains model investment portfolios in which MAI views are applied. PMP will use a concentrated long/short portfolio comprised mostly of liquid ETFs that express macro-oriented views in equity, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodity markets. Before founding MAI in 2015, Mr Brodsky founded and managed two successful private funds, Spyglass Capital, a macro-oriented mortgage derivative fund (1996 to 2006), and QB Asset Management, a macro fund (2006 to 2013). He liquidated Spyglass profitably before the financial crisis and he and his partners sold QBAMCO to Kopernik Global Investors in 2013. From 1982 to 1996 he traded equity options and mortgage securities for firms including Kidder Peabody and Drexel Burnham. Mr Brodsky received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982.
