EDF


Stéphane Tortajada has been group head of finance and investments at EDF since 2010. In this role, his responsibilities include: treasury, structured and project financing, investments, mergers and acquisitions for the large deals and insurances. He is also in charge of EDF’s asset management division which include the pension and the nuclear decommissioning funds with an AUM of c. €45bn, as well as the rating agency relationship management. Stéphane Tortajada also serves as chairman of EDF Investment Group. He is a board member of EDF Development and Environment, the holding which owns EDF Energies Nouvelles and a member of EDF Group Investment Committee. Before joining EDF, Mr Tortajada was in charge of international development and real estate at Groupe Casino, where he developed each local platform and managed the international RE assets with a total portfolio value of €4bn. Having debuted his career as an investment banker at HSBC, Mr Tortajada joined Lazard where he served as executive director. Stéphane Tortajada is a civil engineer from ENPC and holds a cum laude masters degree in finance from Sciences Po Paris. He is also a member of the French Society of Financial Analysts.
