The Euromoney Turkey Finance & Investment Forum 2009 was an unmissable date in the annual calendar for anyone doing, or looking to do business in Turkey. This major finance and investment forum was the second annual Euromoney Turkey event, and was once again an enormous success. A large audience of over 450 delegates gathered to hear panel discussions, focused workshops and keynote speeches over the day and a half. Key government officials, policy makers, issuers, investors and commentators came together on stage to discuss the key issues facing the Turkish markets today.

The discussion sessions were deftly opened by keynotes speeches from the following distinguished individuals: Suzan Sabancı Dinçer, Chairman and Executive Board Member, Akbank; Ali Babacan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Turkey; and Jermyn Brooks, Head, Global Private Sector Programme, Transparency International.
