The 11th Annual Euromoney Forex Forum on 3-4 May at the Brewery, London was a huge success. With an audience of almost 500 delegates and 50 expert speakers taking to the stage to discuss the major themes of the day it was truly an event not to be missed.

Robert Savage, CEO of, opened the conference, delivering a thought provoking keynote speech in which he outlined his views on how macro changes would impact the FX markets in the next three to five years. Jerome Booth, Head of Research for Ashmore Investment Management delivered an insightful keynote address to open the second day of the forum, in which he discussed the future of the dollar and the realignment of current global imbalances. Huge volatility and uncertainty in the markets gave our panellists plenty to discuss and debate and provided our delegates with plenty of food for thought.

Day one of the conference focused primarily on the G10 currencies, with debates surrounding the future of the dollar and the eurozone, as well as discussions on FX trading strategies in the current environment and how best to manage risk and generate alpha. The second day of the forum saw the focus shift to the emerging markets as our expert speakers debated the internationalisation of the renminbi, China’s relationship with the US, the growth in emerging markets and how inflation is impacting the foreign exchange markets. Both days were full of engaging and lively debates, and provided valuable insight for all those in the foreign exchange market.

Thank you to all our sponsors, speakers and delegates who made this event possible. We look forward to building upon the success of this event next year.
