Event Overview
The 2018 Euromoney Egypt Conference provided a comprehensive update on Egypt’s financial markets. The conference turned the focus back to the economy, under the theme of Resilience and Agility.
This year we were pleased to welcome H.E Dr Mohamed Maait, the Minister of Finance, H.E Dr Amr Talaat, Minister of Communication and Information Technology and H.E Dr Hala Helmy El Saeed, Minister of Planning Monitoring and Administrative Reform to the conference.
Our diverse line-up of speakers delved into topics such as blockchain, financial inclusion, start-ups and much more. Some of the important questions answered this year included: Has Egypt’s economy turned the corner? Is the economy resilient and why is this important? How can the government and businesses navigate a world full of constant disruptions? What are the innovative ideas, approaches and projects in Egypt?
