Event Overview
The premier deal-making event for high grade debt capital markets
Perky markets set the scene for this years conference. With plenty to talk about including increased euro and sterling corporate issuance, Greece’s Piraeus Bank on the road with a tier 2 bond, Spain and Italy’s whopping €54.5bn from investors, the event was not short of rich content over the two days.
Beginning with a keynote interview from Giovanni Tria, the Minister of Finance and Economy of Italy, we couldn’t have wished for a more topical start. If you missed it, recordings will be available for you to watch shortly.
The two days flew by as 17 sessions covered topics including Asian Capital Markets, SRI, green bonds, changing investment priorities of pension funds, FIG issuing and investing, corporate issuing, and much more.
Sandwiched in between, we welcomed keynotes to the stage to discuss managing risk and the investment landscape. To end, we celebrated Euromoney’s 50th birthday in style on the Garden Terrace.
A big thank you goes to all our sponsors for their continued support. We look forward to seeing you all again in London on 16-17 June 2020 for the 29th Global Borrowers & Bond Investors Forum.

Euromoney 50th Anniversary
In 2019 Euromoney turns 50.
Our publication was founded in 1969 to cover the growth of cross-border finance. Over five decades, Euromoney has been there to cover every advance and every challenge along the way. We have prided ourselves on our ability to get to know the people and the institutions driving banking, finance and capital markets forward. What a 50 years it has been.
Euromoney's 50th anniversary gives us a unique opportunity to take the pulse of global banking today. Throughout the course of 2019, we will publish a series of special reports reflecting on 50 years in the core pillars of Euromoney's coverage. In each report, we will look at what has brought banking to where it is today and discuss where the industry goes from here.
You can view coverage from the past 50 years here.
