The 3rd Annual Euromoney China International Finance Summit was a major success that attracted over 500 delegates representing companies from more than 20 countries.
This year’s discussions focused on China’s ‘new normal economy’ and the economic revitalisation of Northeast China.
Held in one of China’s major industrial bases, attendees had an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of a leading Chinese tier-two city.
Over two days, senior Chinese and international MNCs, bankers, foreign direct investors, state-owned-enterprises, business tycoons, thought-leaders, private financiers, fund managers, and lawyers came together with government policymakers at this internationally organised gathering.
For the opening, we were honoured to have PAN Liguo, Mayor of Shenyang Municipal People's Government deliver a keynote address, who shared with the audience the city's economic road map.
In addition to the Summit, attendees were invited to four different company and site visits including a visit to the state-of-the-art BMW Brilliance assembly line and the XITA district famous for its North Korea street.
