Mahamane is a senior energy specialist with more than ten years of experience in renewable energy project development, implementation, and management in European, South American and African markets.
In 2015, Mahamane joined the international division of the EDF group where he has been in charge of the creation and management of the EDF subsidiary in Côte d'Ivoire, established at the end of 2016.

He has previously worked for eight years within the industrial division of EDF Energies Nouvelles as project manager, during which he led the development and implementation of a large portfolio of solar and wind projects (450 MW).

Based on this experience, Mahamane has the task to lead the development of the EDF Group's activities in Côte d'Ivoire, under the impulsion of the Biovéa biomass project 2x23MW in partnership with SIFCA and the deployment project of a large scale solar home system program in partnership with Offgrid Electric. 

Mahamane holds an engineering degree equivalent to a master of science in electrical engineering from the French ESME SUDRIA Engineer School (Diplôme Grandes Ecoles)
