Business as usual in tumultuous times
Barely an hour goes by these days without a headline somewhere forecasting doom for one part of the fixed income market or other. As central banks gear up to shrink balance sheets and tighten rates, global capital markets can do nothing except wait, watch and hang on every syllable from Yellen, Draghi and Carney.

I hope you can join us at this year’s Euromoney Corporate Financing Forum, to help us debate whether, finally, we have reached the end of the post-crisis credit cycle, and what this means for issuers and investors alike.

 Who will be there?
Over 200 corporate treasurers, CFOs and funding officers, investors and intermediaries.

“The Corporate Summit in Paris gave me the opportunity to update myself on financial moves made by key corporates, and touch base on the investors’ market from chief investment officers.”
Emmanuel Rapin, Director, Financing, Treasury and Insurance, Lagardère

 What is on the agenda?
This year’s Forum will give investors and issuers alike a genuine insight into the kinds of innovations and strategies that will help them to negotiate such choppy economic waters. The agenda will explore how treasurers can tailor effective funding strategies that get the best out of all asset classes. Among other topics, we’ll be discussing:

• How to create a funding mix that will weather the storm
• The merits of bonds versus loans versus private placements
• Green bonds, and their future
• How to find value in corporate bonds
• Whether the leveraged finance and alternative lending markets could be overheating
• The event will also feature a series of smaller and in-depth product focused target-table sessions on acquisition financing, hybrid bonds, securitisation, sterling bonds swamps, managing liquidity and fintech.

What makes it different?
The event has been specifically designed to be as interactive as possible, so issuers and investors can learn from their peers, share ideas and ensure they are up-to-date on all the latest developments in corporate finance.

“The panels … had some of the most honest and frank discussions about markets that I have heard anywhere.”
Chris Telfer, Portfolio Manager, ECM Asset Management
