Tariq Al-Sudairy is the managing director and chief executive officer of Jadwa Investment, a Riyadh-based Islamic investment bank.  Since inception, Jadwa has grown into a leading regional investment management and advisory firm, with assets under Management exceeding SAR20bn.  Tariq joined Jadwa in 2011 as head of the private equity and investment banking division, and was subsequently appointed as managing director and chief executive officer in May 2014.  Before joining Jadwa, Tariq was a senior vice president at Amwal AlKhaleej, a regional private equity firm headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  At Amwal, Tariq was involved in the full investment cycle, leading deal structuring and negotiations as well as post-acquisition value creation.  He also represented the firm on the boards and board committees of portfolio companies to advise on matters of corporate governance, strategy, corporate finance, business development, senior management recruiting, and performance monitoring.  Previously, Tariq was a manager with McKinsey & Company, based in Dubai, UAE.  While at McKinsey, he led project teams advising major companies and government institutions in the Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) on a wide variety of issues related to strategy, organization, and implementation, with a particular focus on the financial services sector.  Earlier in his career, Tariq spent four years with Lexecon Inc., an economics consulting firm in Boston, MA.  In his role as an economics consultant, Tariq managed project teams that analysed industry structures, competitive dynamics and resource valuations in the context of litigation support, primarily focusing on the oil and gas sector.  Tariq is a member of the board of directors of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), Abdulmouhsen Al-Hokair Group for Tourism and Development Company, and Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company (Luberef).  He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a BA with honors in Economics from Williams College.
