Mr Keith Rabin serves as president of New York-based KWR International, Inc and Singapore-based KWR International (Asia) Pte Ltd. He possesses over thirty years of public-private sector experience as an Asia-focused manager and consultant with substantial expertise directing business, investment, economic, trade and project development, research and public relations/affairs initiatives with particular emphasis on trade/investment promotion, energy, renewable energy and rural electrification as well as Special Economic Zones and private sector development. Mr Rabin has been active in Myanmar since the 1980s and recently directed a multi-year Myanmar Integrated Energy Development initiative for the University of Tokyo and Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). This included preparation of energy/infrastructure section of Myanmar Comprehensive Development Vision, a multi-sector review for Myanmar’s Ministry of National Planning and Economic Planning. Previously, Mr Rabin supported business development and managed international marketing for the Riau Islands, home to the Batam, Bintan and Karimun Special Economic Zones off the coast of Singapore in Indonesia. Mr Rabin has also helped to design, implement and support many other infrastructure, economic development, financial transactions, and policy related initiatives for clients in Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, India, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Palau, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Afghanistan and the United States. Additional experience in Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr Rabin holds a masters degree from Columbia University School of international affairs with a focus on international business and finance and a bachelors degree, anthropology from the State University of New York/Albany.
