Joshua Schiffrin is a senior trader in US government bond trading and US inflation trading. He has worked in the inflation business since 2003 and was the firm’s first dedicated treasury inflation-protected securities (TIPS) market maker. Before that, Josh traded short-term agency debentures. Earlier in his career, he worked in the structuring and marketing of corporate derivative products. Josh joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 as a summer analyst and was named managing director in 2009 and partner in 2012. Josh earned a BS in mathematics and a BA in economics, summa cum laude, from Duke University in 2001.
