Alex Pollack


Honeywell Indonesia

Alex Pollack overseas Honeywell’s operations in Indonesia and is responsible for advancing the corporate mission and goals in Indonesia with multiple constituencies, including government and public agencies. He is responsible for working closely with all businesses, providing strategic direction aligned with Honeywell’s High Growth Region Strategy. Pollack is responsible for leading the development of a framework for driving ‘One Honeywell’ growth initiatives, including expanding into new markets, new product offerings, and developing organic and inorganic growth strategies. Pollack has extensive experience in strategic business development and management in the power, oil and gas infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. Before joining Honeywell, he was director of operations and head of technical and industry support at Bakrie & Brothers. As director of operations he was responsible for the P&L of 13 companies at the holding company level. In his last years of tenure there, Pollack also served as inter-unit technology liaison, where he advanced multi-company business opportunities, and developed business plans for collaboration and capitalisation. Earlier in his career, Pollack worked in various management and engineering service roles for a number of multinational companies including McDermott, Europipe, Gilbert Commonwealth, and South East Asia Pipe Industries, Pollack earned his masters degree in management from Florida State University, and has a bachelors degree in welding engineering from Le Tourneau University, Texas.
