Adam is a director in the corporate solutions team. Adam is leading Lloyd’s push into the developing market for green and sustainable capital markets. In July 2014 Adam led Lloyds Bank’s £250 million environment, social and governance bond, the first bond issue of its kind in the market. Adam is currently capital markets adviser to a large UK utility looking to invest in the UK’s smart meters programme. Earlier in 2014 Adam led the capital markets and ratings advisory work for Amber Infrastructure’s winning bid for Priority Schools, a £550 million financing procurement run by the Department for Education. Previously at Lloyds he led a number of innovative financings such as the £600 million bond issued by the Greater London Authority used to fund CrossRail (Lloyds were sole structurer and bookrunner). Before Lloyds, Adam held positions at Bank of America and UBS Investment Bank where he worked on transactions such as the creation of Network Rail’s £20 billion MTN programme and lead arranging a £1.25 billion securitisation of track access charges to fund the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.
