Lindon Shiao is a co-founder of the industrial division of PRIME Group, which makes direct investments in companies operating in two sectors – energy and Infrastructure as well as agri and food. The industrial division and its subsidiaries, Prime Energy Partners Ltd and PRIME Agri Ltd, are associated members of the private, closely held Singapore-based PRIME Group of companies that conduct Asian-focused investment banking and asset management-private equity operations, both licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.  Early in his career, Lindon joined a California-based, deregulated energy service provider in 1997 from which he later co-led the spin-off, expansion and growth of Catalyst Power Partners LLC as a principal and key member of its executive team. Catalyst Power, a leader in developing and deploying small scale, distributed generation platforms with integrated remote communication, controls, and power quality capabilities, was divested to ABB Ltd in 2000.  Before Catalyst Power, Lindon led M&A teams at Arthur Andersen supporting buy-side transactions across different industries, including manufacturing, consumer marketing and distribution, healthcare services, and real estate.  Lindon brings to PRIME 17 years of financial acumen and hands-on entrepreneurial management experience. Lindon has served as CFO or CEO of various investee companies under the industrial division of PRIME. As chief executive officer and director of GridSense Inc, Lindon led the turnaround, expansion, privatization, and ultimately divestment to Acorn Energy (NASDAQ: ACFN). GridSense is a leader in the optimization of electrical transmission and distribution systems, and has pioneered smart grid technologies enabling utilities around the world to improve reliability and T&D operations.  Recently, Lindon was the managing director of PRIME Farms Thailand, a leader in Thailand’s hydroponically-grown fresh fruit and vegetables market. Lindon earned a BS from the Haas Business School at the University of California, Berkeley. He is an inactive CPA.
