Joris Fletcher is a managing director, and the co-head of BroadSpan Asset Management;

Previously, Mr Fletcher was the managing partner of Neovara LLP, a London-based independent private high yield credit manager he created through the spin-out of Lehman Brothers’ European mezzanine business, which Mr Fletcher led through the highly complex multi-jurisdictional bankruptcy process. At Lehman Brothers, Mr Fletcher was a managing director and his responsibilities included the origination, execution, monitoring and realization of private credit investments across all industries and European countries. He led 20 investments in subordinated debt, mezzanine securities and equity co-investments, representing approximately $750 million of invested capital; 

Before joining Lehman Brothers, Mr Fletcher worked in the leveraged finance capital markets groups at Morgan Stanley and ING, where he helped to structure and execute around $15 billion in high yield financings across a wide variety of jurisdictions and industries. He started his career after business school in the Latin American capital markets division of Barclays Capital, the investment banking arm of Barclays Bank PLC.

Mr Fletcher graduated from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, and got his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish, French and German.
