Amit Singh advises on a broad range of equity and debt capital market transactions across Asia Pacific and has extensive experience of advising issuers and underwriters on debt and equity capital raisings and general corporate advice. He has worked on the majority of Indian DCM transactions in recent years across the investment grade, high yield, masala and green bond space.  These include masala bonds by HDFC Limited, NTPC Limited, Shriram Transport and Fullerton; high yield bonds by Renew Power, JSW Steel, Vedanta Resources, HPCL Mittal Energy Limited, Motherson and Glenmark Pharmaceutics; and green bonds by Indian Exim, IDBI Bank, Axis Bank and Rural Electrification Corporation.  Other deals across South East Asia include the recent complicated liability management and Rule 144A / Regulation S new issue of perpetuals by PTTEP in Thailand, high yield bond issuance by Agung Podomoro in Indonesia, bond issuance by Genting in Malaysia through an offshore subsidiary and bond issuance by DFCC Bank in Sri Lanka.  He has advised on the landmark sovereign bond issuances by Fiji, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.  He has also worked on many of the landmark equity offerings from India.  His experience includes working on IPOs for Indian, European and African issuers. Examples include IPOs by Reliance Petroleum Limited and VLCC Limited in India, Safaricom in Kenya and Kaupthing Bank in Iceland.  In addition Amit has advised on the QIPs of Motherson Sumi Systems Limited, State Bank of India, Axis Bank and Yes Bank and the rights offering by Tata Power Company Limited.  Amit is admitted to the New York Bar, as a solicitor in England & Wales and Hong Kong and as an advocate in India.
