Before joining IIF as the chief financial officer, Ms Indrawati Darmawan served as the president director at Standard Chartered Securities Indonesia for six years since 2010. Previously, she was the senior vice president at Barclays Capital Indonesia (2008) and at UBS Indonesia (2007).  She had also held key positions at several companies including managing director at Mandiri Sekuritas from 2004 to 2007, vice president at Indonesia Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) from 1999 to 2003 and associate director at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell between 1994 and 1997.  Earlier to her career, she served at PT Makindo Securities for a year since 1993 as the project manager and also served as a senior auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick starting in 1991.  Ms Darmawan obtained her bachelors degree in business administration from Texas Christian University, USA in 1989 and graduated with a masters degree in international business from West Coast University, USA in 1991.  Ms Darmawan was involved in the following training, the capital market for infrastructure investment held in Manila, hosted by the Capital Market.
