The Euromoney / ECBC Covered Bond Congress is the world’s premier covered bond event. In 2009 in Copenhagen the congress reaffirmed its place as the biggest and most influential industry event in the world, attracting over 700 issuers, investors and intermediaries once again.
Debate and discussion understandably focused on the impact of the ECB’s Purchase Programme and its wider effects on the covered bond markets. Other topics under the microscope at the event included the future of the secondary market, market-making in the new environment, the new markets for covered bonds, and investor appetite for covered bonds.
