
Last week Euromoney Conferences held their first ever conference on Kenya as an investment destination. This took place in Nairobi and was co-hosted by the Government of the Republic of Kenya. Over 500 delegates attended.
Local and foreign investors discussed how Kenya had been affected by global financial downturn and whether Kenya’s economic blueprint, Vision 2030 was on track.
Opened by HE Mwai Kibaki, President of the Republic of Kenya and Prime Minister The Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, the conference followed an intensive agenda which delivered a structured and timely understanding of the country. Key sectors such as Finance, Information Communication and Technology, Tourism, Agriculture, Energy and Infrastructure,were discussed illustrating the opportunities for foreign capital to flourish.
