The 8th Annual Forex Forum USA was a great success. The forum took place in the Pierre, New York on 1 November, and attracted corporate treasurers, world-class forex professionals, institutional investors, risk managers and economists from across the US. With high levels of volatility in the financial markets, our panels of expert speakers were not short of interesting topics for discussion.

Zachary Karabell of River Twice Research delivered the opening keynote address at the forum, with a speech entitled Where in the World is the World Headed? Setting the scene and posing a series of key questions about the direction in which the global economy is headed, Mr Karabell delivered a perfect opening to the day. Our sponsors then hosted a series of panel discussions which focused upon the US and QE3, the possible consequences of a breakup of the eurozone, the future for emerging markets currencies and the broadening debt crisis and its implications for major currencies. The day closed with senior strategists and research directors from our four lead sponsors delivering their predictions on the movements of the major currency crosses during the next six months.
