The European Local and Regional Government Finance conference certainly upheld its reputation as the place for European local and regional governments to meet and share ideas. This year’s conference was a busy and interesting day and a half of networking and debates. The sessions on stage included editorially driven panel discussions, sponsor workshops, interview sessions and keynote speeches. The speakers addressed the issues facing local authorities, exchanged best practise strategies and discussed the way forward for 2010 and beyond.
