The Euromoney Zimbabwe Breakfast Briefing

Date: 04 October 2009
Venue: Hilton Hotel, Istanbul
Download to Outlook

On the occasion of the IMF/World Bank 2009 Annual Meeting in Istanbul, Euromoney conferences held a breakfast briefing on Zimbabwe.

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Finance Zimbabwe and the African Development Bank, the audience heard about the recent developments that have taken place since the Inclusive Government were established in February of this year. The Hon. Tendai Biti gave an address and answered questions about the new currency, private sector development, rule changes to make investing easier and how Zimbabwe is moving forward. A panel of speakers also told of how things were changing and the positive effects on their businesses.

Thanks to our co-hosts and speakers, the briefing gave delegates the opportunity to hear from those people involved about what really is going on and the changes taking place in the new Zimbabwe.
