Indonesia Investment Forum 2014

The Euromoney Indonesia Investment Forum came to a successful close, bringing together over 650 participants, reflecting the continued optimism investors had for one of Southeast Asia’s most promising and dynamic economies.

We were honoured to have had HE Agus Martowardojo, Governor of Bank Indonesia, and HE Bambang Brodjonegoro, Minister of Finance, to open the summit, and HE Sofyan Djalil, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, to close our day of lively discussions and debates.

Business leaders gave their views on the future outlook on Indonesia’s investment opportunities, as well as whether the country is adopting the right policies to nurture Indonesia’s emerging middle class consumers, while policymakers and government representatives addressed the nation's key problems such as infrastructure bottlenecks and energy security development.  Our sponsors elaborated on the global currency market forecast in 2015 and the impact of such factors on Indonesia, as well as the current state of the offshore RMB market.

The Indonesia Investment Forum will reconvene in 2015.

Euromoney would like to especially thank the government for their support, our speakers for their views, and our remarkable sponsors who made this event possible.
