Katie Kelly is a director in the market practice and regulatory policy team at the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), where she has most recently been exploring how financial markets can be harnessed to deliver economic growth, including extending finance to companies in Europe through private placements and infrastructure bonds. She is also responsible for ICMA’s primary market financial institution issuer forum and corporate issuer forum and runs a working group focusing on bail-in. Before joining ICMA in 2011, Katie practiced law for eight years at Linklaters in both the London and Paris offices, having previously trained at Addleshaw Goddard. She also acted as treasury counsel for British American Tobacco. Katie studied law and French in Manchester.
